Living in Firenze

We have officially been in Italy for three weeks now...it's amazing how fast our time here is passing by. I can't believe it's almost October.

We finally feel settled into our apartment and we now know where to buy groceries and how to use the bus system to get around town. Jonny has adjusted pretty well. Italians love babies...well most people love babies, so he's always getting something free.

School is going well for JJ and I am taking an Italian class which is sort of helping me speak to the locals. This is definitely an easier semester which gives us time to get out and see Florence. Today we traveled to the Piazza San Marco museum and the Ponte Vecchio "Old Bridge" famous for gold jewelry. It was pretty rainy so we didn't get the best pictures.
